Lafayette and the Laundry Bag

This is Lafayette. He lived at the animal shelter where I adopted him from the age of one month to the age of 8 months. He was so agoraphobic that for the first week, he hid under the printer table, because he'd never been outside the kennel for very long. He would sneak out at night when I was asleep and attack my hand. Not to be mean, he wanted to play. I had the vet trim his claws. I've had him since March of 2010. He is much better socialized and no longer agoraphobic.
I think that Lafayette was meant to be with me. We're both kind of quirky, so I think we get each other.
