Thalia and I pointed out in the post that we hope no-one will brand this girl a "tomboy." This is a terrible, outdated term. A girl should be allowed to be active and to imagine herself the brave heroine of her stories without it being considered "weird" or paradoxical. A boy should be allowed to be bookish and quiet without being branded in a negative fashion.

We are all individuals, not cookie cutter automatons molded in "male" and "female" versions.
